DOG DAYS KARATE WINNERS – On Saturday, July 22, Students representing Van Dyk’s Karate, Team VDK and Team S.W.A.T. travelled to Moore, OK.,to compete in the Annual Dog Days Karate Tournament hosted by the Oklahoma Karate Association.

Mason Fast and Hunter Malensek performed well and placed first in both Weapons and Traditional Forms divisions in their respected age and rank groups. Hunter also place 2nd in his Point Sparring Division.

Mason competed in the Youth 10 – 11 Intermediate Division and Hunter competed in the Youth 12 – 13 Intermediate Division. Both boys are chasing championship points on the OKA Circuit and are well on their way to repeat as Champions. Congratulations to these two kiddos. Hard Work does Pay Off.
