ECS COMPETES

ECS COMPETES – The 2018 El Dorado Christian Cross Country Team traveled to Bolivar, Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 1, to compete in the SWCCA/ Richard Clark Invitational sponsored by Southwest Baptist University. The Buffalos were excited and ready to hit the course. The number of cross country participants increased this year from approximately 1,000 in 2017 to almost 1,400 in 2018. MC, Cross Country Coach, Ron Bandy, introduced the top 15 in each division; class 1A through class 4A and medals were presented. ECHS eighth grader, Olivia Bryson, placed 13th in the 1.5 mile, out of 114 female middle school runners. The Buffalos had a great first meet. Head Coach Travis Bryson was very proud of his young team. The ECHS Cross Country Team continues practice as they gear-up for their next meet in Joplin on Sept. 15.
