The El Dorado Christian School Cross Country team earned first place overall at the MoKan Conference meet, held recently at Ray-Pec South Middle School. Runners from several of the conference’s 14 member schools competed on the challenging Panther Country 5K course.

The ECS girls team led the way with outstanding finishes:

1st place – Laura Purtle; 2nd place – Sadie Watkins; 6th place – Maddie Shipp

The ECS boys team also posted strong results: 5th place – Tristan Coleman; 6th place – Bentley Bowen; 8th place – Dawson Luelf

Their combined efforts secured the team championship for ECS.

The team is coached by Susan South and supported by Athletic Director Steve Altheide. Both praised the student-athletes for their hard work, determination, and team spirit throughout the season.
