Track season for the Lady Buffalo’s came to a close on May 13, 2016, at the ISAAC Track Finals in Overland Park, KS. Chaney (right) ran her last race as a Lady Buffalo. Tears of happiness and sorrow were felt throughout the team. Chaney went out in style. She won gold in the 200m. The ECHS girls’ team tied for first place and was awarded the trophy for, “most points scored per athlete.” Results; Chaney Housh – 1st in high jump, 1st in discus, 1st in 200m run, 2nd in shot put, 2nd in 800m medley; Mindy Harper – 2nd in 800m medley, 2nd in long jump, 2nd in triple jump, 2nd in 800m run, 3rd in 100m dash; Jordanne Steuck – 1st in triple jump, 2nd in high jump, 2nd in 800m medley, 4th in discus, 4th in 200m dash; Isabelle Bryson – 1st in 1600m run, 2nd in 800m medley, 3rd in triple jump.
