Eight ECS Track Athletes Compete at Nationals 3 cc

Feeling blessed that they are able to compete, the following ECS track athletes advanced to the 2016 National Track Meet held at Plaster Stadium on the Southwest Baptist University Campus on Friday, May 13, 2016.  Each athlete competed in their designated age group.  Results; Sophia Bryson, 1st in 50 yard dash (9 sec. flat), 1st in 200m dash, 2nd in 100m dash and 8th in long jump; Olivia Bryson, 2nd in high jump, 3rd in 800m run, 3rd in 1600m run, 3rd in 2400m run; Isabelle Bryson, set new PR’s in 100m and 200m; Jordanne Steuck, 1st in 800m, 2nd in 1600m run; Drew Steuck, 2nd in 800m run, 2nd in javelin, 3rd in steeplechase; Aidan Reeves, 1st in shot put, 4th in discus; Christian Steuck, 2nd in 80m hurdles, 2nd in shot put, 5th in long jump; Brayden Housh, 5th in triple jump and 7th in high jump.  Isabelle, Jordanne and Bryaden competed at the ISAAC track meet that morning in Kansas City, then traveled down Hwy. 13 to Bolivar to compete at Nationals.  Two meets in one day; way to go.  Pictured (from left) are Christian Steuck, Aidan Reeves, Drew Steuck, Jordanne Steuck, Isabelle Bryson, Olivia Bryson and Sophia Bryson.  Inserted photo, Brayden Housh.  Track Coaches are Mike and Cammie Housh.
