El Dorado Springs Boys’ Basketball team played three games during the week of February 7th going 2-1.

On Tuesday, Feb. 8, the Bulldogs defeated the Butler Bears 66-64 in a well fought battle of conference opponents. The Bulldogs were led by sophomore Landon Murry’s 23 points, while junior Kuliath Kephart added 16 points of his own. Kaden Burley (Jr.) added 11 points and Kade Fast (Jr.) and Joe Gordon (Fr.) each added six points. Senior Will McKinney rounded out the scoring with four points.

The Bulldogs traveled to Warsaw on Thursday night to play the host Wildcats. The final score was in the Bulldogs’ favor by a final of 54-23. Several players scored on the night, being led by Murry and Burley both having 10 points each. Gordon added 9 points, sophomore Rees McCullough had 8, Kephart 5, Grant Ehlers (Jr.) 4, Fast and McKinney 3 each, and freshman Aidan Rotert added 2 points.

Friday, Feb. 11, the Bulldogs traveled to play the Buffalo Bison. The Bulldogs lost a tough one in overtime, 49-47. Murry led all Bulldog scorers with 22 points, Burley added 17, Kephart 6, and Gordon 2. Kade Fast had five assists in the game and Will McKinney added 4 assists as well.

The Bulldogs are now 12-10 on the season and 5-1 in conference play. They will play Monday, Feb. 14, at home against Sherwood, Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Butler, and have senior night on Thursday, Feb. 17, at home against Nevada.
