We came into the season knowing we would face one of the toughest schedules the boys have seen for sometime. Throughout the year the team would see some good competition including six teams that were state ranked at one time during the season. We knew we wanted to establish a new mindset and culture for our program. When the coaches met with the seniors, one of the big things was changing our mindset on defense and making it a priority. While we still have progress to make, this team set a good foundation for what is to be expected and where we want to be in the future.

The athletes from top to bottom took positive steps forward. We saw great growth in our C-Team and Junior Varsity players this year. Both of these groups fought hard each game and continued to improve the entire season.

At the varsity level, we saw good growth and had multiple accomplishments. Landon Murry reached the 1500 point mark and finished his career with 1,553 points. He was our leader on offense and created issues for a lot of teams.  Rees McCullough set a new single season record for rebounds by grabbing 248 rebounds on the season and was known as our enforcer. Aidan Rotert tied the single game assist record with 10 in a game along with becoming one of our top defenders on the team. Joe Gordon also became a defensive specialist for us and found himself usually guarding the best player. He not only guarded the best player most nights he led the team in assists and created a lot of opportunities for other players. Russell Ferguson stepped his game up and became a go to for us on the inside and was our second leading rebounder. Karson Burley came on strong from outside the second half of the season which opened things up for us even more. Watching his confidence grow was fun to watch.  Along with those honors we had four make All-Conference honors. Landon Murry 1st Team, Joe Gordon 1st Team, Rees McCullough 2nd Team and Russell Ferguson Honorable Mention. All- District information has not been released at this time. As a whole we as coaches are extremely proud of all our players and the time and work they put into our program. These young men have overcome many hurdles this season and continued to work together and grow as a team. Throughout the season guys stepped up when they needed to and played for each other. We had different guys lead in scoring almost every night and it was great to see. All of these guys accepted the roles given to them and worked hard at them. We have a great group returning next year and look to make even more progress. We are excited about the group coming in and have high expectations for Bulldog Basketball this next season.
