ElDo Christian basketball  underway 3 cc

ELDO CHRISTIAN BASKETBALL UNDERWAY – El Dorado Christian varsity Buffalo’s kicked off their season at home on Nov. 21 against South Park Christian Academy.  ECHS won 56-54.  Seth McKinney was named, “Player of the Game.”  The Buffalo’s traveled to Christian Learning Center in Ft. Scott, KS, on Tuesday night, Nov. 22.  Coach Cole’s boys came out with their second win of the season, 45-34. Seth McKinney, banked 19 points and was once again named, “Player of the Game.”   

On November 29, ECHS hosted Overland Christian Academy.  The game stayed even in the first quarter, 7-10, El Dorado Christian.  The Buffalos held their lead going into the half with a score of, 22-19.  At the beginning on the third quarter, Overland Eagles came out strong leading the Buffalos by 3 at the end of the third.  El Dorado Christian lost momentum in the fourth, taking their first loss of the season; 56-48.   Stats for the game; Elijah Buttorff, lead with 12 points, Laine Dobbs, 10; Seth McKinney, 9; Brayden Housh 7; Landon Wilson, 6 and Drew Steuck, 4 points.  Freshman Brayden Housh was awarded, “Player of the Game
