The Class 3 State Champion Lady Bulldogs had their awards banquet last Wednesday night. Speeches were given by both Coach Beau Swopes and Coach Alexa Mays. The Lady Bulldogs finished the season with a 29-3 record, undefeated Conference record for the third year in a row and a State Championship. The Lady Bulldogs had four girls make OHC All conference, Tevi Gurley and Neely Schaaf made second team all conference and Reese Schaaf and Macie Mays made the first, with Reese Schaaf being named

Conference player of the year. The Lady Bulldogs had two girls make All District and Class 3 All State in Reese Schaaf and Macie Mays. Reese Schaaf was also named the Class 3 state player of the year. The Lady Bulldogs also handed out their own awards: Lily Taylor was the most improved player, Wriley Taylor received the Bulldog Award, Macie Mays was named the Defensive player of the year and Reese Schaaf had the most rebounds (7.4ppg), Highest Free Throw percentage (84%), and also took home MVP honors. Lady Bulldogs will graduate three seniors Morgan Mitchell, Tevi Gurley and Reese Schaaf. These young ladies will be missed next year, but we are excited about their future.
