On Friday, Dec. 21, the El Dorado Springs Lady Bulldogs played host to the Butler Lady Bears in an Ozark Mountain Conference game.

The game started out close as both teams traded baskets, ending the first quarter with a 12-11 Bulldog lead.

In the second quarter, the Lady Bulldogs got hot from the outside hitting four 3 pointers and defensively they held Butler to just one made shot from the field. The defensive effort allowed the Lady Bulldogs to take a 10 point lead into half time.

In the third quarter, the Lady Bulldogs once again were able to outscore the Lady Bears, this time by 7, increasing their lead to 44-27.

In the fourth quarter, both teams struggled to score and the Lady Bulldogs were able to run out the clock and finish with a 49-29 victory. Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were: Reese Schaaf 27, Tevi Gurley 13, Brittany Stevens, Taylor Robison and Tori Rawlings each with 3.

This game brought the Lady Bulldogs record to 9-3 and 4-0 in conference play.
