LADY BULLDOGS CELEBRATE THURSDAY WIN

Thursday afternoon the Lady Bulldogs made their way to JQH Arena to take on the Lady Indians of Strafford. This was a match up of the #1 and 2 ranked teams in Class 3. The first quarter went back and forth, and the Lady Indian edged out our Lady Bulldogs 11 to 10. The second quarter was a mirror image of the first, and the teams would be tied 23-23 going into half.
The Lady Bulldogs defense really stepped up in the third quarter holding Strafford to 7 points, while score 13 of their own. In the 4th quarter the Lady Bulldogs watched Strafford pull within 2 points multiple times, but the Lady Bulldogs would always push the lead back out.
With 9 seconds left, the Lady Bulldogs missed a free throw and Strafford push the ball down the court but came up short on the 3 pointer from the corner. The Lady Bulldogs were victorious 46-44.
