The El Dorado Springs boys basketball team played an exciting Courtwarming game but came up a little short losing to Knob Noster 57-55 on Friday night.  Coach Joel Braden reports the Bulldogs held a 18-17 first quarter lead but then had a scoring drought in the second.  Knob Noster outscored El Dorado 16-6 in the second quarter to take a 33-24 lead into halftime.

BANKING ONE IN – Bulldog Freshman Derek Hayes shooting for two of his 10 points in the JV’s Courtwarming win over KnobNoster  last Friday night. Ian Masters led scoring with 11. Tanner Wit was there with nine.

The JV played the Knob Noster Panthers last Friday night for court warming.

Coach Jeremy Barger said, “The JV Bulldogs came out playing very hard right out of the gate taking a 13-6 first quarter lead. With some timely shooting and good defense the Bulldogs were able to keep the lead going into half at 27-18. The Bulldogs stretched the lead to 20 at one point in the 3rd quarter and really never looked back winning 51-40. I thought the boys played well offensively and defensively. Offensively we made 10 three pointers on the night which definitely helps. We have a lot to work on but I like the direction these boys are headed.”
