The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity beat Wheatland on Wednesday 11-5 in seven innings.

• The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity scored in the fourth on a two-run home run by Brooke Larsen, an RBI single by Anyssa Salazar, a wild pitch and an error.

  Breanna Rhoads racked up three RBIs on three hits for the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity.

  Tailor Hutsell looked sharp on the rubber. Hutsell held Wheatland hitless over three innings, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out six.

  Dampier ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She allowed 11 runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out two.

ONLY SAFE FOR THE RUNNER – Bulldog Softball Batter Makenzie Melton was trying to beat out a ground ball she hit sharply in their game against Humansville Monday evening at home when the short stop threw just over the first baseman’s head. Bulldog Assistant Softball Coach Holly Gemes went  into survival mode just before the ball hit the chain link fence and Makenzie was safe. The Bulldogs won 12 – 2 in the sixth inning.
