Tri County Quilt Club met at 7 p.m. Sept. 9, at the Rockville United Methodist Church. Meeting was called to order by President Madline Woodfin, with 14 ladies present to enjoy an evening of quilt talk, learning new things and celebrating September birthdays of Donna Engelman and Marcelle Marquardt.
Ladies had been busy sewing; Show and Tell was by Mary McLeod, Cathy Wanisha, Pam Walker, Donna Harris and Phyllis Stewart.
A very interesting program by Phyllis Stewart on using recycled dryer sheets and scrapes of material to piece a quilt block into a beautiful quilt. Interesting designs could be made.
October meeting will be Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. at Rockville United Methodist Church.
