Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says that as far as she knows she will not be closed any more days in August and no steak dinner in August. She will be closed on Labor Day weekend Saturday through Monday and will reopen on Tuesday.

Judith Caudle says she was the one having the garage sale at the Town Hall in Harwood. She says she was not thinking when she set it for Thursday, Aug. 17, that people would be working on that day.

The Harwood-Schell City area have had a little bit of rain off and on this week.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday morning, Aug. 20. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “The Gift of God Entrusted to Us” was taken form II Timothy 3:1-4.

Madalyn Crocker’s grandson, Caleb Crocker, is running for Little Prince for the Schell City Fall Festival which is Friday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 9. You can get tickets for him at Madalyn’s Kitchen.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, had dinner at the Cedar House Grill Sunday, Aug. 20, at El Dorado Springs.
