Rozella Gammon, formerly of Harwood, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 26. She was in Morning Star at Nevada when she passed away. Her husband, the late Floyd Gammon, and her brother-in-law, the late Harry Gammon, owned the Harwood elevator for years. Funeral service was held for her Thursday morning, March 28, at Ferry Funeral Home at Nevada with burial at Vernon Cemetery near Walker.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, spent the weekend in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They went to church with them on Sunday, March 31, and then ate at Pizza Hut in El Dorado Springs.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman and Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the 60th birthday dinner and party for Madalyn Crocker at the Schell City Community Building Saturday evening, March 30. They had music by Josh Baker out of Nevada and they had fireworks. Madalyn had a very nic party. There were around 125 there. Madalyn owns the restaurant south of Schell City. She serve very good food. She always has a buffet on Sunday.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, March 31. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was taken from Daniel 1:1-20.

Ruth Ijams was in St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City Monday thru Wednesday.
