An MU Extension Soil Fertility Shortcourse will be held in El Dorado Springs, January 29, 31, Februrary 5, 7, and 12 (Tuesdays and Thursdays) evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cedar County Library. 808 S. Main, El Dorado Springs.   

The International Plant Nutrition Institute Soil Fertility Manual will be used for the class.  Topics covered include major, secondary and micronutrients; soil and plant testing; recognizing deficiencies and plant and soil testing.  The classes will be taught by Pat Miller, MU Ext. Agronomy Specialist.

Registration should be received at Cedar County Extension Center, 133 South Street, Stockton, MO 65785 by Friday, January 18, so that class materials can be ordered. Registration fee is $100 or $150 for two family members or partners sharing materials.
