Partners in Pasture is a group of west central Missouri forage producers who meet at different farms and discuss the grazing management and livestock needs. The August Partners in Pasture is Monday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m. at the Ervin and Regina Scharff farm northeast of Stockton. This farm will feature both cool and warm season grasses. The host will provide burger and hot dogs and participants should bring lawn chairs and a potluck dish. University of Missouri Extension will provide water and paper supplies. They will have a trailer with hay bales to ride across the pastures. Directions to the farm from Stockton are: Go 3 miles east of Stockton on 32. Turn left and go 9 miles northeast on M Hwy. From Humansville go west 1 mile on N Hwy. Turn left and go south 4 miles on M Hwy. It is a blue house. Watch for Extension signs.
