Ruby Ellen (Greene) Keith, 84, El Dorado Springs, passed away in Community Springs Healthcare Facility on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. Ruby was born July 14, 1933, at Roscoe, the daughter of Charles E. Greene and Mary Ellen (Barr) Greene.

Ruby attended Roscoe School 12 years. She married and had five children.

Ruby worked for the El Dorado Springs R-II School as a custodian for 33 years. She loved working at the school and she thought of everyone there as second family. Her grandkids would see her in the hallways and say “Hi, Grandma Ruby.” So the other kids started calling her Grandma Ruby. She loved them all.

Survivors include her five children: Toni Hillsman and husband, Mike, of El Dorado Springs, Charlene Moore and husband, Randy, of El Dorado Springs, Frasa Johnson and husband, Kirk, of Stockton, Sally Beisley and husband, Scott, of Harwood, and  Charles Keith and wife, Tina, of El Dorado Springs; grandchildren: Wendy Grubber and husband, Johnny, of El Dorado Springs, Brian Hargrave of Alabama, Becca Hillsman of El Dorado Springs, Nica Hillsman of El Dorado Springs, Cassandra Winning and husband Rand of Pleasant Hill, Scott Johnson and wife, Christy, of Ottawa, KS, Misty Stantan and husband, Jeremy, of Stockton, Keith Beisley and wife, Kristy, of El Dorado Springs, Samantha Cooper and husband, Cole, of Harwood, Tamara Keith of Stockton, Jared Keith and wife, Liz, of El Dorado Springs, and Justin Keith of El Dorado Springs; 25 great-grandchildren; and a lot of nieces and nephews.
