News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, well be closed Friday, March 30, through Sunday, April 1, for the Easter holiday. She well reopen at the regular time on Monday, April 2.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, spent Wednesday, March 21, in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They all had dinner at Pizza Hut at El Dorado Springs.

Around seven relatives and friends attended the 80th birthday reception for Judith Caudle and the retirement for her husband, Jon Caudle Sr., who is retiring from preaching. It was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Saturday, March 24.

Dinner guest in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman after church Sunday, March 25, was Rosie Taylor.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, March 25. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was taken from Romans 6:1-14.

Rain is much needed in the area. We are supposed to get rain in the next few days. The area is in much need of rain because of the danger of fires.
