On Friday, Feb. 1, the Lady Bulldogs hosted the Lady Tigers of Nevada.

The game was tight from the start with the Lady Tigers taking an early lead only to have the Lady Bulldogs take it right back gaining an early first quarter advantage, 17-16. The Lady Bulldogs were able to keep this lead for the majority of the second quarter, until the Lady Tigers went on a 7-0 run to end the half leading 33-27.

In the second half, the Lady Bulldogs were able to pick up the intensity on defense and had many girls step up on the offensive end as they took the lead back early in the third. The Lady Bulldogs were able to push the lead out to as much as 17 winning the game 61-44.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Kameron Schaaf 12, Kinli Simmons 11, Kaili Simmons 10, Alexa Schaaf nine, Taylor Witt eight, Madison Mays seven and Rachel Bush four.

On Monday, Feb. 4, the Lady Bulldogs hit the road to take on the Lady Jays of Clever.

Offensively the Lady Bulldogs played really well scoring 18 in the 1st quarter, but defensively they struggled giving up 14 points to Clever. In the second quarter, the Lady Bulldogs stepped it up defensively holding Clever to only six points while scoring 19 of their own taking a 37-20 advantage into the half.

In the second half, the Lady Jays came out on fire from the outside, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to keep their lead and finish with a 67-48 victory.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Kameron Schaaf 16, Kaili Simmons 15, Taylor Witt 10, Rachel Bush nine, Alexa Schaaf eight, Kinli Simmons three, Madison Mays three, Becky Jennings two and Claire Silvers one.
