First 55 Years

From a farm kitchen to a community organization and now even an international organization

We have learned from one of our founders, Juda Fugate Wosoba, how to put our visions together and carry out our plans. Juda agreed with TOPS’ founder, Esther Manz, that group support and a plan provided by one’s doctor would be effective. This marked the beginning of TOPS MO 319, El Dorado Springs. (Now 9319).

In celebration of the local TOPS Chapter’s 55th anniversary we plan to hold a “TOPS WALK” at 12 noon Thursday, April 13, in the El Dorado Springs Lions Club-Carter Memorial Park Shelter house, 1168 S. Main, El Dorado Springs.

We will celebrate the life of Juda Fugate-Wosoba, El Dorado Springs TOPS Chapter founder with a walk. Everyone is invited to attend this event. Walkers to walk with us are welcome, bring a sack lunch and help us celebrate.

In conjunction, TOPS International is celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year.

Please come out and help us celebrate these two important TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) milestones.
