Approved Commission Minutes for February 25, 2019.

Met with Chad Pyle, Assessor

Requests to process court order 24327-24364, to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.

Met with DJ Ford, Road & Bridge Supervisor

Road maintenance difficult with mud at this time.

Discussed an email received concerning CR1975.

Discussed repair on Bear Creek Bridge. 

Discussed CR601, CR675, and CR2100.

Met with James McCrary, Sheriff

Weekly Report of Inmate Housing – Out of County – 53, Cedar – 5 = 58

Purple Wave came on Friday to see the two Dodge Charger units that will be listed on their website, they will email Jim specs later.  Should be online by March 16th and run for two weeks.

Fence is built for the inmate smoking area, privacy panels will be installed soon.

Boultinghouse made motion to sign the bi-annual Lake Patrol Contract for 2019-2020 with the Corp of Engineers, seconded by Foster.  Collins – Yes, Foster – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes.

Met with Tammy Ikerd, University Extension – Reviewed Monthly Outreach Report

Moving forward on barn quilt project.

March 30th Cedar County 4-H Achievement Day

Set Cedar County Fair for June 19-22, 2019

Met with Peggy Kenney, Treasurer

Submitted invoices for review.

Call from Jason from Great River Engineering

Commission signed letter to transfer $20,000 BRO credits to Webster County for $20,000 soft match credit from Webster County to Cedar.

Conference call with Bruce Rogers concerning Kaysinger Basins Economic developer. 

Reviewed letter from Timothy Hocking.  Commission agreed to forward letter to prosecuting attorney as there is nothing they can do.

George Ainley stopped in to inquire about bringing a road up to county maintenance.

Wayne Pyle stopped in to report plugged culvert on CR675.  Road & Bridge have already been out to clean out what they can to get it flowing again but will need to go back when road is dryer.

Call from Liz Moreau thanking commission for maintenance on CR2225.

Call reporting pot holes on CR2100 west of C HWY.

Call from Jason Kimerling at post office reporting near impassibility on CR935 north of DD.

Visit from Vernal Henry.

Francesca Suarez stopped in to request a culvert installation at her drive.

Commission reviewed monthly reports submitted by Circuit Clerk, Recorder of Deeds, and Prosecuting Attorney.

Commission reviewed payment requests submitted to the Treasurer for discretionary funds by elected officials.

Bills were approved.
