July 10 – Officers responded to 504 East Fields, A9, concerning a reported assault.  A juvenile suspect was identified and referred to the juvenile office.

July 10 – Officers responded to 615 North Main concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a smart phone SIM card. The property was located and returned.  A juvenile suspect was identified and referred to the juvenile office.

Officers responded to 127 West Spring concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an orange kindle fire tablet. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to the 300 block of West Hickory concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a silver Apple I-phone 5S. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

July 11 – Arrests: Elizabeth D. Morris, 31, of El Dorado Springs for two El Dorado Springs warrants charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of assault on police with a $801 bond, and failure to appear on the original charge of trespassing with a $175.50 bond, and a Vernon County warrant for probation violation on the original charge of forgery with no bond. She was transported to the Vernon County jail pending court appearances.

James C. Duncan, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with a $225.50 bond. He was released after a court appearance

July 12 – Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a breakfast pizza, ice cream cone, sandwich and drink. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sebastien H. Kelso, 25, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with shoplifting. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Arrest: Amanda G. Johnson, 24, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while revoked, no proof of financial responsibility and wrong license plates.  She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 211 West Hickory concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a white 7 inch Samsung Galaxy Elite Tablet. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

July 13 – Officers responded to 1401 South Park Street, Cedar County Memorial Hospital, concerning a reported disturbance in the Emergency Room. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Angela K. Barlow, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of second degree domestic assault and peace disturbance, and a Vernon County warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of non-support, with a $900 cash bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

July 14 – Officers responded to 316 South Ohio concerning a reported assault. A report taken and investigation continues.

July 15 – Arrest: Kenneth G. Worthington, 64, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with false police report.  He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

July 16 – Officers responded to 100 East  54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of $21.35 (9.05 gallons) of gasoline. A report taken and the investigation continues.
