Jan 31 – St. Clair County deputy received information a trailer reported stolen in Appleton City recovered by Kansas City Police Department. On Jan. 24, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Terry Powell in reference to a 2016 Rice brand 18-foot flatbed trailer stolen from a lot west of his True Value store on West Fourth Street, Appleton City. It was learned the trailer was recovered after an individual called to check a vehicle identification number on trailer they were about to purchase. There are no suspects at this time, but the investigation is ongoing in Kansas City.             

Feb 1 – St. Clair County arrest warrant was issued for George Richey, 55, Appleton City, for failing to appear in court on an unclassified misdemeanor charge of supplying liquor to a minor. Bond  set at $1,000 cash only.

Original charge stems from an incident in July 2016 when Richey allegedly purchased alcohol for a minor who was later arrested for minor in possession.

UPDATE: Feb. 3 – Warrant  recalled by the court

Shane Stewart, 37, Jerico Springs, on St. Clair County warrant revoking his $30,000 cash or surety bond. His new bond is set at $75,000 cash only. He is charged with class B felony distribution/delivery/ manufacture/ produce a controlled substance, class C felony possession of a controlled substance, class C felony unlawful possession of a firearm, class D felony unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Original charges stem from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation Oct. 27 when a narcotics search warrant was executed at a camper located in Twin Oaks Harbor. During search of residence several items of contraband were located throughout the camper. Items included crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, several new plastic bags and digital scales.

Andrew Collins, 27, Springfield, arrested at a residence on B Hwy, on a no bond probation violation warrant from Greene County. Warrant issued Jan. 27. Collins is on probation for class D felony unlawful use of a weapon and class A misdemeanor resisting arrest stemming from a Springfield Police Department investigation in December 2011.

Feb 2 – Brandi Walker, 37, Springfield, arrested in St. Clair County on a no bond Green County warrant for probation violation on two original class C felony counts of forgery. The arrest came after  St. Clair County deputy was informed of a vehicle that was driving in a careless manner traveling south on Hwy 13 approaching Osceola. Vehicle located and it was swerving from side to side in its own lane. Vehicle stop conducted and contact made with Walker, the driver. She gave the deputy false information regarding her identity.

During investigation Walker’s true identity was discovered. She had revoked Missouri driver’s license and the warrant. Information was learned she was allegedly involved in a robbery in Iowa earlier in the day and wanted for questioning.

Further investigation discovered drug paraphernalia and  metal spoon inside vehicle. Walker  taken into custody on the warrant and other formal charges from the incident are pending.

Teri Olson, 45, El Dorado Springs, arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class D felony possession of a controlled substance and class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Charges stem from investigation the previous day when St. Clair County deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force received information in reference to illegal drugs in vehicle parked on public property on the Osceola square. During investigation digital scales with a white powdery substance were located. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. Other items of drug paraphernalia were located during the investigation.

St. Clair County arrest warrant issued for James Sprinkle, 27, Joplin, charging him with class D felony non support. Bond set at $1,000 cash only.

St. Clair County deputy took report from Vernon Putnum in reference to trailer missing from his property on NE 471 Rd. Putnum described the trailer as a 16 foot tandem axle 1996 MORI flatbed trailer with wooden bed. Feb. 2, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Vernon Putnum in reference to a a trailer missing from his property on NE 471 Road, Osceola. Putnum described the trailer as a 16 foot tandem axle 1996 MORI flatbed trailer with a wooden bed. Value of trailer  estimated at $2,500. He noted the owner of the trailer is Patsy Brownlee.

Feb 3 – Woodrow Gray, 44, Appleton City, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony possession of a controlled substance and class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bond iset at $10,000 cash or surety.

Charges stem from investigation the previous day when a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop on vehicle Gray was driving on Hwy 82 near Roscoe. Members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force assisted deputies with the investigation and small clear bag with white powdery substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine was located along with  misdemeanor amount of marijuana in the vehicle.

Further investigation led to a search warrant being obtained for Gray’s residence on NW 601 Rd. While warrant was being served, deputies located a large quantity of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, firearms and a large sum of cash in his residence. Additional formal charges are expected.

Deputy arrested Mark Iwanski, 60, Ord, NB., on St. Clair County warrant charging him with three felony counts and two misdemeanor counts. Iwanski  charged with two class D felony counts of possessing a controlled substance, a class E felony unlawful use of weapon-subsection 11-possess weapon and a felony controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-prior drug offense. Charges stem from  Osceola Police Department investigation Feb. 2. Bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Feb  4 – Shawna Kalberloh, 45, Green Ridge, arrested on St. Clair County felony warrant. Warrant was for probation violation on original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Warrant issued Jan. 11 and bond set at $5,000 cash only.   Original charges stems from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation Jan. 16, 2014, when deputies along with members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force were at residence on NE 700 Rd, Lowry City, where Kalberloh was residing. She was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Feb 5 – Micky Kottwitz, 41, Weaubleau, arrested on Coon Creek Street, Collins, on a St. Clair County felony warrant. Warrant was for probation violation on an original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Warrant issued Jan. 27 and bond  set at $2,500 cash only.  The original charge stems from investigation Aug. 28, 2015, at residence on NE 471 Rd, Osceola. During investigation, St. Clair County Sheriff’s office deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force discovered a soda can that field test positive methamphetamine in Kottwitz’s possession.

Kottwitz was also arrested on a Henry County felony warrant. Warrant was for probation violation on original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Warrant issued Jan. 27 and bond set at $2,500 cash only. Original charge stems from investigation Jan. 1, 2015.

Feb 6 – Mark Prater, 47, Rockville, arrested in St. Clair County on Johnson County warrant charging class C felony possession of a controlled substance, class D felony resisting arrest and an unclassified misdemeanor of driving while revoked. Bond set at $20,000 cash or surety. Warrant issued on Jan. 18 and stems from Johnson County Sheriff’s office investigation Aug. 3, 2016.

Feb  6 – Officer from Grove Police Department, Oklahoma, contacted sheriff’s office stating  vehicle recovered at store in their jurisdiction.

Feb 7 – Phillon Howard, 24, Kansas City, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class E felony resisting arrest by fleeing creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person. Bond set at $7,500 cash or surety. Charges stem from Osceola Police Department investigation the previous day.

Feb 8 – Lakota Goodwin, 19, Collins, arrested in St. Clair County on a misdemeanor warrant from Bolivar Police Department for failing to appear in court on a stealing charge. Bond set at $150 cash only.

Samantha Taylor, 29, Deepwater, arrested on St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on two counts of class A misdemeanor domestic assault-third degree. Bond was set at $10,000 cash only.

Original charges stem from incident Jan. 30, 2016, when St. Clair County deputy responded to call in reference to female making threat to another individual at an apartment on South Mahan Street, Lowry City. During investigation it was discovered Taylor entered a residence, uninvited, of another individual placing them in apprehension of immediate physical injury. Taylor allegedly pushed her way through another family member and threatened to cut the throat of the individual.

Feb 10 – Bond modification order issued by the court and Taylor was released on her own recognizance.

Feb 9 – Flint Greer, 27, Humansville, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony possession of a controlled substance and class E felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Charges stem from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation the previous day when a deputy was dispatched to a call of  trespasser causing disturbance on SE 1074 Rd, Collins. Contact made with Greer, who had driven to Pilot Travel Center, Collins. During investigation a crystalline substance located and field tested positive for methamphetamine.  Several items of methamphetamine paraphernalia were also located.        

Jessica Hutchins, 29, Osceola, arrested in St. Clair County on a Benton County warrant for failure to appear on ordinance violation of shoplifting. Bond set at $1,000 cash or surety.
