The El Dorado Bulldog basketball season finished the first half of their season by hosting the Archie Whirlwinds and the Butler Bears.

Tuesday the Archie Whirlwinds visited El Dorado and the Bulldogs wasted no time getting an early 21-12 1st quarter lead. The Bulldogs continued to extend their lead throughout the game and won 70-39.

Shelby McKinney led the Bulldogs with 14 points, Donovan Collins added 13 points and Brayden Housh had 12,

The Bulldogs then hosted conference foe Butler on Friday. El Dorado again jumped out to an early 17-10 first quarter lead but the Bears cut the lead to 2 by halftime.

The Bulldogs played solid defense in the second half and won the game 60-46.

Brayden Housh led all scorers with 27 and Shelby McKinney added 16.

The Bulldogs go into Christmas break with a 5-5 overall record and a 3-1 record in the conference.
