TWO POLE VAULTERS SOAR – On Friday, April 15, the El Dorado Springs track team got the opportunity to get their two pole vaulters, Ethan Parshall and Brayden Housh, into the KU Relays. They both qualified, despite the stringent standards, and they both made use of the possibility. From the get go, they were both flying high. Brayden Housh ended up matching his school record setting, a personal best height of 13’8” to take 5th. He did have a pretty good attempt at 14’2” but couldn’t get the timing down. Ethan Parshall ended up finishing with a height of 13’2” for 9th place. Although his 2nd attempt at 13”8” was about a foot over the bar, but he came down on it. These two are really starting to look pretty good as we start wrapping up the regular season and moving into the post season.
