On Sunday, June 28, at 10:38 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a storage container fire at a business on Airport Rd. Four trucks and 14 firefighters responded.

On Tuesday, June 30, at  5:40 p.m. the department was dispatched to the airport to set up a landing zone for a medical aircraft and then diverted to the hospital to meet the ambulance. The call was then cancelled. Two trucks and eight firefighters responded.

On Wenesday,June 1, at 2:04 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a residential structure fire on N. Jackson. Three trucks and 14 firefighters responded. A special THANK YOU to Olympia Fire Department, ElDo Police, Cedar County Ambulance and City utilities for their excellent help!

On Friday, June 3, at 9:13 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to perform traffic control for a semi that had jackknifed at an intersection on W. EE Hwy. Two trucks and six firefighters responded. Later that morning at 11:23 a.m. the department responded to a lawn mower fire in a yard on S. Jackson. One truck and 10 firefighters responded. A short time later at 2:20 p.m. the department was dispatched to a small grass fire  on the edge of the road on US 54 Hwy. and County Road 601. Two trucks and 10 firefighters responded.
