Young hunters check nearly 3,000 deer during late youth portion

Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) shows that young deer hunters ages 6 through 15 checked 2,944 deer during Missouri’s late youth portion of this year’s deer hunting season, Nov. 25-27.
