Dean, as he was known by his family and friends, was born in El Dorado Springs on Feb. 14, 1948, the oldest son of Leonard Parks and Wynetta (Clutter) Parks. Sammie Elton Harris, 92, of Osiris, passed away March 16, 2019. He was born to Alfred and Bertha (Shockley) Harris in the Osiris community near Jerico Springs. He spent the first 87 years of his life in the same area. He entered Truman Health Care at Lamar in January 2015. Sam was a lifelong farmer.
Paul B. Darnell, 89, of Harrison, AR, passed away Friday morning, March 8, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.
