Kenny Keltner was the winner of the Lions Club Picnic raffle. The pistol was from Bear Arms and with Keltner is Lion Corey Barton.

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 S. Summer St, El Dorado Springs on Thursday, Aug. 19, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting. Linda Hall, Leader, called the meeting to order. Carol led us in singing “I Want To Be At That Meeting” We said our TOPS

The Clintonville Lodge raffled off a rifle from Bear Arms during the 140th Picnic. The winner was Mike Dines from Appleton City Lodge 412 and St. Clair Lodge 273. With Mike are Jim and Gerald Leonard.

The Clintonville Lodge 482 raffled off a framed picture of turkeys during the Picnic. The winners were Jack and Mary Lady. The picture originally belonged to long time lodge member Ed Morlan. With the Ladys are Lodge members Jim Leonard and Gerald Leonard.

On Sunday, Aug. 8, at 5:23 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment on Greenridge Rd. for a medical lift assist. Six firefighters responded. On Monday, Aug. 9, at 4:13 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a dumpster fire on S. Park St. Truck 5 and four firefighters responded. On Tuesday, Aug.

The Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA) with support of the National Rural Health Association (NRHA), is supporting COVID-19 vaccination transportation in Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Crawford, Dent, Henry, Hickory, Howell, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, Phelps, St Clair, and Vernon Counties. No-cost transportation to COVID-19 vaccination appointments is now available. No-cost transportation includes youth 12 years and older

On Sunday, Aug. 1, at 5:45 the Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on S. High St.. for a garage on fire. Two trucks and 11 firefighters responded. On Friday, Aug. 6, at 5:54 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a building fire at a car dealership on Hwy 32 south of town.
