CEDAR COUNTY HEALTH & WELLNESS GRANT RECIPIENTS – Recipients of the $10,000 Cedar County Health & Wellness Grant funds are announced by the El Dorado Springs Community Foundation and Stockton Community Foundation. Santa Claus is coming to Shopko Hometown On Saturday, Dec. 8, Santa will be at our Shopko Hometown stores to visit with area children and be available for photos from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Parents may take their own pictures of their children with Santa Claus as a photographer will not be on site
The 12th annual Toys for Tots toy drive at Fugate Motors is about to wind down with the Dec. 8 deadline swiftly approaching. At this time there is a need for gifts for teenage girls and boys up to 16. Thank you for supporting this project.
West of Stockton Project facts: Replace existing bridge with new wider, longer structure over Cedar Creek. New bridge will be 32 feet wide and 300 feet long, 12 feet wider and 12 feet longer than current bridge. Friday, Dec. 14, and Saturday, Dec. 15, will be the school’s annual Choir Christmas Dinner. The pre-show (Middle School show) and pie auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for kids 10 & under. Tickets went on sale Nov. 19.
