Infant’s body recovered from pond near Lamar

On Monday, July 11, at the request of Barton County Sheriff Mitchell Shaw, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Barton County Deputies, responded to a rural area approximately three miles southeast of Lamar to a report of a body located in a farm pond. Current information is the body is of an unidentified infant female.

All El Dorado Springs R-2 Schools patrons are invited to attend an open meeting regarding district facilities needs, possible solutions and possible bond issue for the November election cycle.
