The Calico Clippers quilters will hold a quilt show – the Colors of Stockton – on Friday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Zumwalt Expo Center in Stockton. The event features gorgeous quilts, vendors, raffles, door prizes and good hot food.

On Friday, April 21, the Mo-Kan Square Dancers will have a dance with Rod Krehbiel (from Kansas) calling. This will be held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. in the Home Ec Building at the Vernon County Fairgrounds in Nevada. The annual meeting for Pleasant Springs Cemetery was held on April 11, 2017. The decision was made to rehire Mike Guffey for mowing. Several have commented on how nice the cemetery looks.
