The Board of Directors of Cedar County Memorial Hospital will conduct a special meeting beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, in the classroom at Cedar County Memorial Hospital. The tentative agenda of this meeting includes a closed session.

The Cedar County Ambulance District is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, in the El Dorado Springs Ambulance Barn. Unfinished business will be inventory. New business will be EMD training, new sheriff and dispatching.

Games will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 17, at First Baptist Church Family Life Center and continue for 10 weeks each Tuesday evening. Usually there are eight teams in the league. Free workshop scheduled for Jan. 21 at Andy Dalton Shooting Range near Ash Grove. Reloading ammunition can be an enjoyable hobby and it’s a way for hunters and sport shooters to customize ammunition and get good shells. Cedar County MU Extension Center and Council will present the MU Extension Beef Cow – Calf Operation Production Workshop at 6 p.m. Feb. 7, in the Cedar County Library located at 717 East Street, Stockton. He will discuss herbicide management strategies old and new, dealing with resistant weeds, palmer amaranth showing

Story Time, sponsored by the Friend of the Library, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13. If the public school is canceled because of bad weather we will cancel story time as well. While you are visiting the library pick up the Take and Make packets provided by the Friends of the Library
