This year will mark the 100th anniversary of VFW Post 257. It is the oldest continuously active Post in the state of Missouri. It was mustered in on Nov. 18, 1919, as Harris Spicer Post 257 with 17 chapter members. It derived its name form a local soldier serving with the AEF who was killed

El Dorado Springs Middle School volleyball practice will begin, August 21st in the Old Gym immediately following the first day of school.  Practice will be over at 4:30.  Girls need to be dressed to participate and will need an up-to-date physical.
