Sherwood was bigger than us but the boys used technique, speed, and conditioning to pull away in the 2nd half to beat the Marksmen on Homecoming. The ECS Cross Country team raced in the Fair Grove Invitational on Thursday, October 4th. Naz Pietersen received a metal in the middle school boys category, placing 13th. Receiving a medal for the girls were Sadie Watkins 2nd and Laura Purtle in 8th place.
