Mike and Linda Jamison will celebrate their 50th Anniversary at the end of this month.
Mike and Linda were married Sept. 25,1970, in a little church out in Osceola. called Cooks Chapel. They currently have been long time members of the Blue Ridge Church of God, (Holiness) – El Dorado Springs.
Mike is now retired from the Mo. Department of Mental Health however, he worked in the retail businesses in town at Sibley and Thatch Grocery Store and Davison’s Shoes. His wife, Linda,, has been the Librarian here in El Dorado Springs for the past 38 years. Before moving to El Dorado Springs she taught and worked in the hospitals in Clinton and Osceola.
Over the years, they stayed true to their faith and relationship with God, while being very involved with the church. Mike would play the piano and Linda sang with other evangelists. They frequently traveled to other churches just to perform specials, share praises, and have some of those old-time social gatherings we don’t see much anymore especially with the Covid times we are in now. Their children Anthony Jamison and Michelle (Jamison) Shoemaker, have both helped grow the family to bless Mike and Linda with six grandchildren – Trevor, Madison, Megan, Lindsey, Zachory and Emmee and one great grandchild, Rori.
Anthony Jamison and family will host a celebration that is being reserved to a small COVID safer environment per invitation: however, would like to invite the community to participate in a CARD SHOWER by sending your cards with shared memories to:
