We want to say “Thank You” to those who have entrusted the care of their loved ones to us this past year. Thank you so much for placing your faith and confidence in us.

The holiday season can be a difficult time of the year. The transition we must make after the loss of a loved one adds stress to our lives and we may find it hard to adjust. As we remember our loved ones there is nothing wrong with grieving, shedding tears, because it hurts inside. But grief can be devastating if we dwell only on it. Let me encourage you to remember the good times you have experienced – those trips you took, talks you had, even the small things you shared together, and cherish those things. Instead of ignoring your memories, find others with whom you
  can share them.

In this season of remembering, we want to honor the life and memory of these special people who have passed on since this time last year:

Missing You At Christmas

There’ll be one missing Christmas, one place at table—bare,

one smiling face we’ll yearn for just knowing you’re not there.

One present left beneath the tree after all have been passed out,

with pretty ribbon posed atop—a heartfelt gift, no doubt.

Voices soft, diminished, we’ll sing a Christmas song,

hoping next year’s easier for you haven’t been gone long.

The joy of your great laughter as the children gathered ‘round–

your spirit more like ‘Peter Pan’ in revelry and sound.

The snow outside—light falling, of which you were so fond,

swift on skis and snowboard, and skating on the pond.

Cozy by a crackling fire we’ll surely quiet sit,

remembering all those times you would stretch in front of it.

We’ll have to gather all our faith and be of one accord,

knowing you are safe with Him—spending Christmas with our Lord…
