The Cedar County Ambulance District met at 6:30 p.m. at the Stockton Ambulance Station, 319 Englewood, Stockton on Aug. 16.

Call To Order: 6:35

Roll Call: All present save Sinclair and Johnson. Four fulfills quorum requirements, so the meeting proceeded. Johnson came in at 6:37.

Approve Agenda: A motion was made by Moore, to approve agenda as presented, seconded by Boyle  , 4 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried.

Approve minutes of previous meeting: July 19, 2021 A motion was made by Boyle, and seconded by Moore to approve the minutes of the July meeting, 5 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.

Public forum: Some people from Korth came over to ask about the water diversion. There are some runoff problems that may be occurring from the downspouts on the East (?) side of the building not being diverted into the ground.

We have actually been waiting on the crew to have time to address this issue and told the representatives from Korth as much. They were happy to hear it.

Reports:

Manager’s Report: Calls were down slightly from last month. All vehicles are in good running order. Truck 715 went in to have the DEF system disabled, as was approved by the board last month. All things seem to be as on schedule as Covid will allow with the new truck. Motion to approve Manager’s report made by, Graves seconded by, Boyle, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried.

Financial Report: Kalena was on vacation this week, her associate, Ashley, presented the report. There was nothing new or unusual to report.  Motion to approve Financial report made by Moore, seconded by Johnson, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried.
