Women’s Clinic

(El Dorado Springs location only)

This program provides a yearly exam including clinical breast exam, pap test, contraceptives and follow up care at reduced costs to qualified women.

Show Me Healthy Women

(El Dorado Springs location only)

This program provides a yearly exam including clinical breast exam, education regarding self breast exam, pap test and mammogram. There are age and income guidelines for this program.

Maternal and Child Care

This program offers a visit by a Registered Nurse to every newborn and mother in Cedar County. The nurse provides resources, education and assessment in order to give each baby a healthy start in life. A complimentary gift bag is given.

WIC

WIC is a supplemental food/nutritional education program for pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum women, infants and children up to age five. WIC participants must meet income guidelines and qualify as being at risk.

County Sanitarian

The environmental sanitarian inspects food service establishments, motels, daycares, swimming pools, water supplies and sewers. Sewer permits are available at the Health Department. Water kits are available to test drinking water.

Child Care Nursing Consultation

Our nurses collaborate with the Missouri Department of Health to provide child care consultation and training to child care providers, their families and children.
