Chain reaction crash injures one

A chain reaction rear end crash resulted in Kathryn M. Murphy, 24, being transported to Cedar County Memorial Hospital with injuries reported as moderate.

The mishap occurred on Hwy. 32 a mile south of El Dorado Springs at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 29, according to the report by Trooper T. L. Harmon. He reported that a northbound 2012 Acura TL driven by Sherrie E. Lohmeyer, 58, Gladstone, rear ended a northbound 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Donna A. Murphy, 42, El Dorado Springs, which caused it to rear end a 2006 Jepp Lorado driven by Angela R. Rickman, 45, El Dorado Springs. The report said that everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.

Ms. Murphy was a passenger in the middle vehicle.
