CHILI WINNERS

CHILI WINNERS – A sunny but breezy day greeted cookers and eaters for the 13th Annual S.C.R.G. Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Oct. 21. There were several vendors on West Spring Street as well as crafters in the Old Community Building and a Fall Shopping Extravaganza in the Civic Center. This years winners are: (from left) Cedar County Prosecutor Ty Gaither – 3rd Place; Mike Steward and Tiffany Nikodim’s Chowhound Chili – 2nd Place; Fidelity Communication’s Jason Radford – 1st Place and Humanitarian Award for raising the most money for the Wayside Inn Museum; and the Optimist Club represented by Ron Alumbaugh – People’s Choice and Best Booth.
