Congratulations to everyone on all TOPS awards

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in The Firefly Services building, on Thursday, May 1, for their regular weigh-in and meeting.

Our leader, Warren called the meeting to order, Carol led us in singing “To TOPS Club We Will Go”.

Warren led us in our TOPS and KOPS Pledges, and Roll Call.

Fifteen members weighed in today. We had a gain of 3.6 and a loss of 9.6 giving us a net loss of 6.0 pounds! Our best loser was Linda C with a loss of 3.6 pounds, congratulations Linda! Warren was a close 2nd with a loss of 3.2, good job!

Today is awards day. Many were unable to be here today those who were here to receive their awards were:

Sue, Back in Black with perfect attendance, she lost 3.8 pounds this month and is in a new decade.

Linda C, 500 miles walked certificate

Erin, Our Best Loser for the month, she lost 8.8 pounds this month and earned $15 from the Best Loser Fund Jar. Erin is close to her 15-pound loss and had an all-black month.

Seven KOPS received KOPS In Black with perfect attendance awards for this month, Carol, Jean, Margie, Marilyn Laura, Linda H and Steve.

The drawing for free dues will be next week.

There are seven on the “20 pounds to goal” Post. Juanita moved from the Post to a KOPS!

For April our chapter as a whole had a gain of 17.4 and a loss of 36.6 giving us a net loss of 19.2!

Thank you, Linda H for doing the awards. We know this is your favorite thing to do and we are glad you do it.

Pat commented on the new contest. She passed out a form for us to use to keep track of our progress. The contest is going along with the TOPS summer contest and the rules for it are printed on the front of the paper. She made a spreadsheet for us to use on the back to track what we have done. If you paid her the $3 and joined the chapter contest there will be awards at the chapter level, any awards you earn at the TOPS level will be presented at Fall Rally date and location still to be determined. The contest ends on July 31, turn in your sheets to Pat and Linda H will send them to Randy.

Marble Game: Since it was won by Judy last week there was only $3.50 in the pot, Linda C won the right to draw and drew the winning one! So, the game starts over again next week. Congratulations Linda C.

We then shared SRD memories and comments from last week’s conference in Springfield. Several of our members received awards and we noted our chapter had more KOPS attending than most of the others.

We were proud of our Chapter Queen, Margie, she looked beautiful and had a handsome escort, Warren. Laura, our past State Royalty and Century award winner. Jean, received her 20-year consecutive KOPS Award, and all of our members who were able to represent our chapter.

With no other business we closed with our motto “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME”
