ECS 5K WALK/RUN

ECS 5K WALK/RUN – On a cool and crisp Saturday morning, approximately eighty participants competed in the 1st Annual ECS 5K Run/Walk. The event was held on Oct. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. sharp. First through third place medals were awarded to the top three competitors in each age category, plus an Overall Male and Female winner. Bottled water, provided by Tim and Peggy Carter, and cookies and fruit sponsored by Mr. J. Cory Gayman, of The CPA Firm, were available to each participant as he/she crossed the finish line. 100% of the 5K proceeds will be used to purchase new and improved playground equipment for students.
