ECS LITTLE BUFFALOS END THEIR SEASON AT HOME – El Dorado Christian Little Buffalos ended their 2016 volleyball season at home on Tuesday night, October 11. The gym was packed with parents from both teams; Christian Learning Center from Ft. Scott, started off the evening with a win over ECS, 25-12.
The Little Lady Buffalos stampeded and answered the call with a win 25-20. With shouts of excitement from the crowd, each team battled to hit the final score of 15. ECS teammates, Breann Reasoner, #25; Christian Steuck, #24; Trinity Gayman, #32, and Leah Biron, #11 served the ball beautifully, Lily George, #15; Sophia Bryson, # 10 and Nellie Dresch, #31 dug serves from the Mustangs; and #30, Emily Redburn, returned the ball twice with two tips, giving the Buffalos a total of 13 points. CLC Mustangs however edged out the Lady Buffalos in the end, with a score of 15-13. Coach Mrs. Tessie Watkins, “was so proud of all the girls.”
Parents and coaches alike were excited for both young teams; thankful for friendship, teamwork, and sportsmanship between the Christian Schools. Way to go, Little Buffalos!
