Abner Morales-Valle, a resident of El Dorado Springs, was arrested on December 17, 2024, after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection with an alleged assault that occurred on October 5, 2024. Valle faces severe charges, including first-degree rape or attempted rape, classified as a felony, as well as resisting or interfering with arrest.

Officer Lambrecht from the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted in the arrest. Morales-Valle is currently being held at the Cedar County Jail, where he awaits a bond hearing scheduled for December 23, 2024, at 9:00 am at the Cedar County Courthouse.
