EVANS NEWEST INTERN

EVANS NEWEST INTERN – Austin Wilson is a fifth year University of Kansas pharmacy student from Topeka, KS. His interest in pharmacy was initially piqued when he shadowed at Evan’s Drug in 2010. Being able to witness the impact an independent pharmacy can have on its community inspired Austin to commit to a lifetime of service to others through the profession of pharmacy.

During his training at KU, Austin worked at his hometown hospital pharmacies where he garnered an interest in teaching future healthcare professionals. To strengthen his ability to teach, he extended his education to attain a Master of Science in Clinical Research. With an anticipated graduation this May, Austin is excited to return to the pharmacy that instilled his deep seated passion for ensuring that patients receive the best medication related outcomes possible.
