Fire report for week of Aug. 29

On Friday, Aug. 27, at 11:30 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of US 54 Hwy. and County Rd. 101 to provide traffic control. Three trucks and five firefighters responded.

On Saturday, Aug. 28, at 8:11 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a restaurant on 54 Hwy. for a carbon dioxide leak. The chief shut down the system.

On Friday, Sept. 3, at 6:19 p.m. the Dire Department was dispatched to the airport to set up and protect a landing zone. The department was cancelled due to change of location. Truck 5 and six firefighters responded.
