Fire report for week of Dec. 7

On Sunday, Dec. 7, at 4:49 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a residence on W. Joe Davis for a smoke alarm sounding. The alarm was malfunctioning. Two trucks and eight firefighters responded.

On Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 1:42 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a residence on W. Joe Davis for reported gas smell. After an investigation, no hazard was found.

On Friday, Dec. 12, at 2:54 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a fully involved structure fire at U Hwy. and 501 Rd. Three trucks and 13 firefighters responded.
